Trip to Ljubljana 2008, part 1

Take a walk around Slovenia's capital

Prešeren square, the center of Ljubljana.

This is part 1 of my trip to Ljubljana from March 2008. I had a meeting at my faculty, which was in the afternoon, but I decided to go to Ljubljana early and walk around. I usually take the train from Maribor to Ljubljana and I have to go earlier, because I need between 2 to 3h from my home to the faculty. Ljubljana was cold on that day, but that didn't hold me back to take photos of the historic center. I enjoyed myself. The only pity is the quality of my photos. I had a simple camera, no DSLR. That's why take these photos as a historic document of Ljubljana, nothing more. And a day in my life I want to remember. I hope you will enjoy my photos. There are 4 parts of this series with 9 big sized photos each.

Take a walk around Ljubljana (March 2008) with me:

The former seat of the Dutchy of Carniola/Kranjski Deželni dvorec, today seat of university.

National and University Library/Narodna in univerzitetna knjižnica or short NUK.
