Our anniversary day part 2

So, back to my post.........

We eat breakfast at this new local restaurant near the mall. I was pretty impresses with the inside decor and their chorizo!! So far it's the best I've tasted in town. The texture was nice, not to crumbly, and had some kick to it!
While we were munching down, it just so happened we were sitting in front of a table full of law enforcers. They weren't in uniform so I assumed they were maybe detectives? Anywho, don't you hate when someone does something (such as runs a red light or doesn't use their turn signal and you almost hit them!!!) and you always think to yourself, "Where are the cops when you need them???" Well, this happened to be that moment but they were actually there to the rescue. It turns out one of the officers notice this white saturn. They start walking around the restaurant asking who's vehicle it is. I was all noisy and watching their every move not caring that my nicely prepared breakfast was getting cold. Haha. I was wondering why they were so persistent on finding the saturn driver?? Did they leave their lights on? Maybe they parked in a handicapped spot and got caught? What could it be??

Turns out.........this person left their dog in the car!!!!! Window rolled up, car turned off....as in NO AC!! And did I mention this is like noon time where the temperature was like 95 degrees?!!! By this time there's a little bit of commotion going on, people are getting antsy and upset. The officers failed to get a confession from the driver so they took charge and went out to the car. One of them whips out their handy-dandy walkie talkie and calls it in to dispatch.Once the officers were all circled around this one car, the girl finally realizes whats going on and runs outside...... We all look to see who this "negligent and careless" person is. And to my surprise........it was a collage looking Asian girl!!! WTH!!!! Not trying to be judgmental or stereotypical but in this split second I was. Anthony and I were both shocked. We were expecting maybe an elderly woman....or an employee that worked there that was maybe picking up their paycheck real quick. Not an Asian girl!!! What the heck was she thinking????? She looked smart enough to know that leaving a dog in the car for even 5 minutes could equal death!!! Did she also forget that not only a baby, but keeping a dog in a car like that is a FELONY!! Wow....that was the right moment and right time for her to learn her lesson! Luckily for her the cops just gave her a harsh warning and left her to face the public with embarrassment. The girl got the dog out, tied it around the bench and proceeded with her take out order.....Talk about embarrassment and shame!!! I would've just drove off and said heck with breakfast! :S

Anyway....so yeah. Here are the pics of the yumminess-

Anthony is always on that phone of his.....

My new anniversary watch Anthony got for me :)

After breakfast I met up with my pinay friend-Stephy! We were running around town trying to get her wedding together...

Look what I found at the Dollar Store. How cute!!

And finally ended the night with some sushi!! Mmmmm.......

Our anniversary day.........

Our day started off as any other day. We woke up, ate breakfast, watched some kpop videos to get us in the giddy mood, and then headed out the door. Our destination?----------- La Paloma Resort. You see, after my “W Hotel” post I was kinda determined to stay SOMEWHERE for our anniversary. We’ve been working so much I just wanted to feel like I was getting away. We’ve all had that feeling from time to time, while others have it everyday. Hahaha. Luckily for us, Anthony works out at the gym with this new workout buddy. This buddy of his just so happens to work at the La Paloma. ^_^  He offered his family rate to us and set up our reservations! Yay!! I was sooo happy (that we weren’t going to have to pay $180 plus for one night! Lol) I think these are the top 5 people with these jobs you always want to make friends with-  1) Doctors 2) Lawyers 3) Someone in the entertainment industry be it movie, music, etc 4) Hotel personnel and 5) ……..which is a big one for me…………………Airline industry!! I’m working on my other 4….and hoping to get closer to #5!!! PLEASE!!! Somebody!!! If you work for the airlines (especially Asiana!!) be my friend!!! I would like to go to Korea every year!! T_T

Now back to the program……….La Paloma………..
