Seaweed Toner

 My face has been getting really oily in the last couple months (due to the humid weather.) I was tired of piling up on more and more face powder throughout the day. Putting more "stuff" just made me paranoid thinking my face might be prone to breakouts.

I discovered this seaweed toner at the Body Shop while my friend and I were shopping around. She was looking for some new oil scent burners while I as drawn to the "seaweed" written on this clear bottle.

"Hmmm, seaweed?? I wonder how this smells?" That was my first initial thought when I saw this product. And let me just tell you, this toner smells so......good! I actually was expecting it to smell like real seaweed straight from the salty sea water. Ha!

As I picked it up I read more about the product and decided to give it a try. The Body Shop was having a buy 2 get 1 free sale so I decided to get 2 facial cleansers to go along with it. As soon as I went home I put it to the test. AlI can say is that this is my new favorite skin toner. I love the fact that it's alcohol free and doesn't give my face that "tingly" feeling. My skin feels so refreshed after using it and smells so good. I used it everyday for 2 weeks straight! After that I didn't want it to run out quickly so I switched it to every other day. I mainly use it to remove any excess makeup that the facial cleanser missed.

As far as the cleanser goes, they work pretty good. The purifying cleanser is used on days when I don't have heavy makeup on. I then use the deep cleansing facial wash for eye makeup removing or days where I wear more face powder than usual.

It's been about a month now with continuous use and I'm still completely satisfied. This was a great beauty find, and if you're looking for a new product to try for your oily skin definitely give this seaweed line a try.
