Easter Weekend

I've been running around trying to find last minute items for my Easter goody baskets. Naturally, I had to try some spring dresses on while passing through the mall. I fell in love with this soft lilac one from F21. Perfect for the spring. Also, I baked a sweet vanilla cake for tomorrow's dessert topped with sprinkle confetti. Now all I have to do is decide what's for dinner...

A sweet day

Me and the bestie hung out today. I still can't believe she's going to be a mommy soon. Four months and counting. It's so cute seeing her little baby bump grow more and more each time I see her. Her only complaint though- she's left with wearing tights and leggings everyday. Looks like she already has a nice collection starting with the leopard prints. Those are my favorite ones so far.

After some extensive shopping, we grabbed some yummy chicken tacos and ate on the patio. A couple hours later we're wiping out the chocolate factory for dessert. It was so hard sticking with just one option so we went for like four! Yep, those pregnancy cravings do it every time.

Gray Jacket

Remember how I was on the hunt for a nice winter jacket? Well, I found one at F21. Not only was it on sale for $30, but it was the last one, which also happend to be my medium size. I love those kind of finds!
Originally, looking at this jacket I planned on wearing it to the Grand Canyon. It didn't turn out to be that way with it's 70 degree weather. Oh well, there's always Korea I guess.

Blazer Love

My blazer collection has quickly added up. While a couple months ago I only had about a handful, the numbers have now increased to 12 or so. Even though I'm always keeping an eye out for different shapes and colors, these 3 blazers are my current favorites. I like to wear atleast one of these once a week to work.

Remember when I got this salmon colored one? I get the most compliments from coworkers everytime I wear it. I just love how soft and angelic the color looks with my skin tone. I try not to wear it as often though because I'm scared it will get stained or something, especially with my luck. All 3 of these blazers were from Forever 21 and were all under $30. Couldn't beat that!

In search of a nice coat

So far, no luck in finding a cute warm coat for winter in stores. Now I'm left with surfing online. The only thing I hate about that is that there's no way to know how the material will feel, fit, or look on your body. You just have to take that chance and hope it's just as good looking as the models make it.

Fantastic Finds

Ulta was having a 'buy 2 get 1 free' sale for their Butter nail polishes. I know, I know.....$14 for one nail polish is quite expensive if you ask me. But I figured it would be equivalent to me purchasing 3 regular priced OPI's. Plus, the Butter London polishes are formaldehyde-free so there's no strong nail polish odor to it (not that it bothers me to begin with.) I got more colors to add to my fall collection  - "Toff, All Hail the Queen," and "Yummy Mummy."

So, I always mention how I love wearing my hair in a bun. It's just easier (and less damaging) for me and everyone loves it. I get more compliments on my lazy hair bun days then when I actually take the time to straighten it out. *hmpf* When I started my new office job I wanted my bun to have a somewhat professional look to it so I purchased this bun spongy-thingy. It's really handy and helps for those that want that perfect cleaner look. You can find it at Claire's (or Icing's) for under $4. Too bad they were out of black so I had to settle for this nude color. My hair's pretty long and thick though so it covers the sponge pretty well. Great find!!

Even though I already came across some blazers......I'm always on the lookout for more. Oh, and I'm currently on the search for some nice faux pearl pieces as well. Forever 21 was of course my number one spot. They always have everything I'm looking for. And if they don't then I skip over to H&M.

The key covers weren't necessary but since it was right there on the counter as I was paying out I couldn't resist. Too cute, right? Look at these cute beanies that Charlotte Russe had. I normally pass by Charlotte but....something "anime-ish" caught my eye so I had to see what it was. Although I didn't purchase one of these cute beanies, I did buy a pair of the socks (in the background.)

Summer has passed and my thirst level has gone down...drastically. I still like to force myself to drink about 8 glasses of water a day, but it gets hard when I'm not even thirsty. I found these liquid water enhancers aka flavored water droplets and they are so good! I got the sweet ice tea one (at your local drugstore for under $5) and it has made water drinking tasty. I only use 1 drop for 8-16 ounces and the flavor is still pretty strong and exactly how it's labeled- as sweet tea. YUM!

Blazin' Deals

I've been loving all my favorite retail stores even more lately. Blazers are everywhere and I've been scooping them up like crazy. H&M had some really nice black ones but I wasn't looking to spend $50 on just one. They had some other selections ranging between $30-$40, but the material was very "clingy" and you could see every lint ball on there. Gap is where I was lucky to find the last one in my size with the nice grey color. On top of that it was on clearance so I only had to fork over $40. That put a big smile on my face...although the sleeves need to be shortened a tad bit. I really hit the jackpot at Forever 21! They had so many colors, sizes and styles. I wound up with 8 or 9 in my arms.....but had to narrow it down due my excessive spending throughout the day already. The ones I picked out were originally $30 some dollars but got on sale for $21. Yes!

*I know the blazers pictured are all wrinkled... I hate how the cashiers just ball them up and through them in the bag *grudged*.... So, I'll be steaming them shortly before work.

Gray Collared

Can I just say that I love shopping for work clothes. Today my window shopping turned more into a shopping spree. I found so many cute clothes that would work well as work attire. Last month when I had my interview I had a very hard time finding business professional clothes (at a reasonable price) and it seemed like I was hitting the wall at every store. Now I can find blazers, slacks, vests, and collared shirts around every corner.

While Forever 21 was my first stop, their blouses seemed a little thin and too sheery. H&M was next and boy, did I hit the jackpot. Although I don't have them all pictured I bought 6 collared shirts ( each at the price of $20. Not bad!) They also had nice blazers with different styles and color varieties. I picked up some rings to play into my shirts, and I managed to find some great scarves.

Here I have 2 of my 6 shirts pictured. The gray and gray stripe were a perfect look with my black suit I had purchased at The Limited. ( The other 4 colors I got were white, black, black stripped, and dark gray.) I wanted to add some color so I got these 2 rings (each for $5.95.) The earring studs were a great find and I got them on sale for 50% off at New York and Company.
