I was lucky to have spent it with all my closest loved ones. This year has definitely been stressful for me! We had exceeded our Christmas budget by....a lot.....and I'm totally kicking myself in the butt for that. I know it's not about the presents but it's really hard not to get mad when you put a lot of time and effort into someone's gift and you're given nothing in return.....not even a genuine thank you. How rude. *long sigh*
Well, on the bright side as I was shopping around on the 23rd I found some great deals at the mall!! I've been wanting a Michael Kor's watch f-o-r-e-v-e-r now and I finally found one....on sale!!! It was about dang time those expensive things were marked down. I was so overwhelmed with excitement I winded up buying 1 for my boyfriend and 2 for myself!! hahaha. Did I mention that we exceeded our Christmas budget? Okay...moving right along.....
I got this nice purse by Rough Roses and struggled on whether to keep it for myself or to give it as a gift for Anthony's mom. Hmmm, it was a very difficult decision, let me tell you. Luckily for me (and her), Anthony's mom has the same exact taste as me. So I knew she would LOVE the purse. She deserved it......she's always feeding my hungry self and letting me have her hand-me-down designer stuff. (We all know how high maintenance Korean women can be..hehe)
Christmas eve was very eventful. We went out to the neighborhood that had all the Christmas lights while chomping down on some kettle corn popcorn.
After all that walking around we ended the night with a nice dinner- samgyupsal!! Just one of my favorite meals. I have been craving this dish for months and the Korean store finally had it in stock!! It was a good night. ^-^
Then Christmas day came.We opened up presents, watched movies, football, ate duk mandu guk and kalbi. Yeah, it was a good Christmas........
