Holiday Window Shopping
I started my pre-holiday shopping. I spent most of the time eye balling stuff and making mental notes to myself. I found this safer than actually trying to attempt waiting in those long weekend lines. I totally forgot Vera Wang had her department store brand at Kohl's. I only realized that because I had one of those free $10 store credit they always send out in the mail and it gave me and excuse to check it out. Then afterwards I realized it, I don't like Kohl's......at all. Blah.
During the year I skip shopping at Bath and Body works. Their products and signature scents pretty much stay the same so I know there's nothing new. Now there's an exception though- the holiday season. This is the only time of year I step foot in here to find all their new limited holiday products. My favorite are the foamy hand soap pumps. I couldn't resist the candy cranberry scent or the warm cookie. Starting to smell a lot like Christmas.
Where do I start? Ahh, yes- "Dear Santa............."
Steve Madden is always a win in my eyes (and on my feet.)
Mmmm. On a chilly night like this one, nothing hits the spot better than a big ol bowl of pho (and of course my boba drink on the side).
Saw this in the parking lot. Too funny. I also get a lot of compliments on my kitten heels. Does this shirt look a little familiar?
This isn't my typical average breakfast. The banana's mine while my coworker was so thoughtful and bought me a frappuccino with an orange on the side. Win! The pastries are from this local bakery I stop in from time to time do order their delicious sandwhiches.
Who would have thought that Fry's grocery store made some really good sushi? They have actual Japanese sushi chefs right there making it fresh for you while boxing it up. Now that's what I call wonderfully fresh. There's nothing worse like buying pre-made sushi and all the rice is soggy and clumped up. Thanks, Steph, for the valuable info!
It's nice seeing all the stores decorated in Christmas spirit. Living in Arizona it's easy to forget that we don't actually have a real winter season per say. There's hardly any snow where I live and the temperatures don't seem to drop and lower than 60 degrees . Yet, retail stores and business establishments still jazz up their stores/buildings to make it feel like a real holiday season. There's still the scarves that come out with the cute boots that are saved all year just to wear at this time.
The only thing that put a big frown on this face was hearing about how certain major corporate chains are pushing back Black Friday even earlier!! This is crazy, people. Thanksgiving day AND night needs to be spent with family and friends eating and enjoying each other's company. Not worrying about going to bed early that day to make your midnight shift for crazy folks that choose to get trampled go shopping instead of staying home and celebrating the really meaning behind this holiday- to appreciate and give thanks. Remember? Just how we learned in school, children. This sign really got me heated. I feel for whoever has to work Black Friday. I really do. Till this day, I've never wasted my time on that made up shopping "holiday". It's just not fair and goes to show how even more greedy we're getting/becoming. Let's just be thankful for something, someone and for once, huh?

November Sun
It's already November and guess what? It's warm and sunny here in the lovely desert! My sandals are still being put to use and my jeans are still tucked away. This week has been in the high 80's and it feels so nice.
I've been enjoying my new job (but spending more money using the excuse that I must get more work clothes.) I still have to get use to working a 9-5, but it's been okay so far. Waking up in the morning isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be (now that I got my body on a new sleeping schedule.)
The holiday season is right around the river bend (remember that song from Pocahontas? hehe) This means heavy traffic, snowbirds coming in, and messy store racks every where I go. Hmmm....not really looking forward to it. :/
Not only is it November but it's only 19 more days until my Zelda game comes out! That's what I'm really looking forward to if you ask me. Oh, and the new Twilight movie. I know, yes, I am one of "those." I'm not the crazy fans though that must see the movie right at midnight and will wait 4 hours in line. No, no, no. I usually wait a week or so and go during the cheap matinee time. I don't like to go with other girls squealing down my neck and getting shivering pleasures while imagining Edward's on the honeymoon with them.....if you catch my drift.
You know how breakfast is my favorite meal of tha day, right? Well I came upon this interesting blog just recently called- Simply Breakfast. I love seeing what she comes up with next and I try to copy the exact thing, but............too lazy. I just whip out the instant oatmeal and drink a mug full of hot green tea before work. Less time consuming, but by far not as tasty as her posts look.

I've been wearing these croc shoes all summer long and I love this green skirt I found at F21. Olive green is my favorite color (along with mustard yellow) for clothing articles. And I'll let you in on a secret- I'm not the type of girl to change her handbag every day/week/month. I've been using this Coach bag for 3 months now......Hey, I got it because I like it, not to be stuffed hidden in my closet. Last year I only rotated my bags twice. My friends were getting annoyed seeing the same one every day......which lead to every month. Hahaha....What can I say? I like to use my things up and wear it as much as possible. This is how I feel that my money was put into worth.

Steve Madden 2011
While I was shopping around the mall yesterday I couldn't help but to notice all the new designs Steve Madden came out with. They were always one of my favorite shoe brands, but are they getting better! All these are on my "want" list as of right now. I could do without 2 or 3 of them, but the rest I've got to have. A little tip I'll share- Whenever I see a shoe I like at the department stores I check DSW first. Most (not all) of the time they'll have the shoe I'm looking for for 30-40% cheaper. Same case goes for the Madden's. I found 5 out of these 9 online line for way less. Guess what that means?- I'm off to the store tomorrow!

Time is ticking
It's Labor Day weekend.
While people are out enjoying their 3 day vacation, BBQ-ing with friends and family, I'm out frantically shopping at retail stores.
My friend called me 2 days ago to give me a heads up on my possibly new job. She told me to keep an ear out for the phone being that her manager will be trying to contact me this week. This phone call will lead to a formal interview......and I'm quietly panicking inside inside.
"Make sure you were a blazer! Oh, and wear dress pants, not a skirt. Just make sure you look SHARP." This is the advice I'm given from my friend. .............................Um....yeah. Don't worry, no pressure I see. *gulp* Sharp? Why did she have to throw that in there? Was she hinting that I'm not capable of looking sharp? I mean, it's only to assume that when you go in for an interview you look the best you can be. Then I started getting all paranoid with her.....should I wear my hair in a bun, no bun, halfway up, all down straightened? Take of my pink shellac nail polish, go all clear? Maybe add some red? Watch or no watch? Pearl stud earrings? Silver stud? Eyeliner or just mascara??? Aggghhh!!
And why is it that everywhere I looked no one carries a size 4 blazer?? I need that exact size so that way my arms aren't swimming in the sleeves and my waist looks nice and defined. Pants were not much of a problem because I remembered New York and Company always carried the petite size. (Good thing somebody does!)
All this stress was quickly diminished with a nice sushi date and some drooling over shoes. That always seems to do the trick. :)
Oh, have you smelled the new Gucci Guilty Intense perfume? I love it and I piked it up today to add to my fall perfume rotation. ;)

Kimchi Shoes
These are so on my "must have" list! I'm dying to get my hands on the black pair. With fall coming right around the corner these bad boys need to be mine!!
Does anyone own a pair of these? If so, do you like them? Are they comfortable and worth the $70? Let me know. :)

Croc-a-do, I do
If you would of asked me 2 years ago how I felt about about people wearing crocs in public I would of squirmed and cringed just on the thought of that. I couldn't stand the sight of people wearing those ugly shoes casually out and about. Even though everyone stated that they were sooo comfortable I just wouldn't cave in to this maddening fashion trend. It was a different story if you worked in the hospital, vet clinic, or garden. But don't you dare wear those to the mall!
It wasn't until my friend got a job there she brought home a pair for me. "Hey, these were free so why not take them? They're not as bad as they seem," she replied. So I gave them a whirl.........but like only if I was taking out the trash or lounging around the front yard. ..............and the conclusion?........Yeah.........I had to admit...........they were pretty darn comfy. Even though I gave in to these weird looking clog sandals I still would never get caught dead wearing these out in broad daylight........well, maybe wal-mart. :P
Now, oh now, Crocs are a different story for me. Their designs have changed in so many different ways and they actually look cute now too! No more having to hide under the sheets of denial. I can be out and about with my shoes and stay comfortable at the same time. :)

Random Mix 2
Anthony's mom cooks the best korean food. It makes my stomach smile.......
Look at this teeny tiny korean breath mint. Looks like a BB pellet.
I love asian pears
I love asian cellphone charms. They make anything look that much cuter.
She's everywhere.......
My new summer gum
My new summer gum
Eating lunch at work
I love drowning my spaghetti with extra extra parmesan cheese.
Look how long my shellac nails have lasted. Instead of chipping they started to lift which I could just peel off.
This is what it looks like shopping on a weekend
My friend's husband l-o-v-e-s warcraft as you can tell by his pictures in their guest room
This is what our cabinet looks like- full of korean instant coffee :)

My Shoe Collection
As women, we all have a collection of guilty pleasure. Mine- perfume and watches. (Judging by my closet however, you would assume it would be shoes and handbags.) Over the years I’ve collected so much “stuff” that I cry inside thinking on how careless I was with my money. Why did I need those shoes that were 50% off but had no where to where them? I always imagined I was investing in my future for that “just in case” scenario. *regret*
Now, to introduce to you my shoes- This is actually ¾ of my shoe collection . The other ¼ were chucked out and given away after being neglected for so long. They deserved a better owner that would show them the attention they needed. :)
BOOTS-
Soda-These Ugg look-alikes finally grew on me and were bought at some Korean-own clothing store for $19.99. Can't say no to that deal. :)
Soda-I love these boots. I usually wear these on a night out with friends.
TJ Maxx- I've gotten so many compliments for these over the years. Almost as if they're classics or something??
Target- These are the first pair of boots I bought. I remember I thought I was breaking out of my shell and venturing off into being a "young lady" whenever I would wear these.hahaha
Soda- These are so comfortable and I love the wrinkle effect it has on the side.
SANDALS-
Soda- These sandals are usually worn with my sun dresses or capris.
Forever 21- Thought they were cute, threw them in the closet, and there they still remain...untouched. Maybe I'll break them in this summer.
Betsy Johnson- I wore these shoes maybe 3 times out of the 4 years I had them. I just "HAD" to get them cuz they were "so cute" and on sale. Now they just sit in my closet as decoration. :P
TJ Maxx- These are one of my favorite sandals to wear during the hot summer. These were a steal deal at $5! I was so happy when I found them just lying around the store that day.
India- I just got these in the summer of 2010 from my trip to France. My mom bought them while she was living in India and never really wore them. She gave them to me and I love them. :) Handmade and very well crafted.
BEBE- Even though I don't wear these now because I feel like chunky wedges are done for awhile, I used to wear these allll the time! These were my everyday shoes 2 years ago. Hey, I'm a sucker for shoes that make me look taller which creates the illusion of slenderness. :)
Avon- I ordered these through a Avon catalog...............and then only wore these twice.
Wild Divas-These shoes were given to me as a gift and I definitely got the money's worth out of them. I can't believe I still hold on to this because I've had these since 2003. Haha.
JC Penny's- I bought these "just because." These actually came in handy for a wedding I went to so they got some use out of them. They've been laying in the box ever since.
Tommy Hilfiger- After my BEBE wedge phase I downgraded to a lower wedge and wore these everyday. They are so comfortable and easy to go with any outfit. I always prefer my sandals over shoes anyday.
Aldo- I'm luck Anthony's mom and I wear the same size. She didn't care for these and tossed them my way. I was quick to catch them. :)
TJ Maxx- I don't know what I was thinking when I bought these?? I guess for $12 I thought I just had to get them. I only wore them a couple times....*a waste*
Betula- These shoes are probably my one of my favorite pairs. I was so lucky to find these at Ross for under $20! These shoes usually run $100 plus. I loved the zebra design. It reminded me of the BEBE wedges that I adored so much.
HEELS-
BCBG- My boss would always brag about how comfortable these were and encouraged me to buy a pair as well. They were worth it!
Forever 21- Bought these for a "future occasion" and still haven't worn them........
Dillard's- These were one of those senseless splurges I did because they were "on sale." *a waste again* I wore them once for half an hour and had to take them off because they were hurting the balls of my feet.
BEBE- Found these at Marshall's and thought they were a steal deal. But too bad I only wore them once. Now that I look at them......they don't look all that special.....*a waste*
Jessica Simpson- I didn't want to buy these because they were $60 shoes that were only going to be worn for one night (one of my best friend's wedding.) But she requested that everybody wear the same style and color to better coordinate with our dresses. I guess I could wear them whenever I go out to the bar lounge or something.......
SHOES-
Soda- I love how these look like Chuck Taylor's but half the cost....:) And notice the majority of my shoes are Soda brand?? Hahaha. Hey, can't go wrong with cute shoes for good prices.
Converse Chuck Taylor- I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these!! So bright and pink. Better yet was the enlarged canvas style and thick laces. I just couldn't pass them up.
Dr. Martens- These feel like heavy combat boots compared to my other shoes but very protective and almost invincible.
Diesel- I actually bought these for Korea 3 years ago......but as we all know the story, I didn't wind up going.
WORK SHOES-
Crocs- Pretty stylish compared to the original style we're all used to, right? I thought so too.
Chinese Laundry- Just some flats I needed for work.
Dollhouse- These have lasted me 1 1/2 years and going somewhat strong. I tried looking on their website so I could replace these worn out ones, but they're discontinued of course.
Clogs- I'm surprised I still had these tucked in my closet. These are the shoes I used to wear when I was a server. Ah, good times. Good times.
Aldo- I thought I could pull these off when I bought these. After a couple weeks once I realized they weren't really my style it was too late to return them. *a waste*
Mervyn's- The cashier knew my boyfriend and gave me a good employee discount on these- free ninty nine. Hahaha. Those are the best.
JC Penny's- I bought these just so I could have a nice pair of "business attire" shoes. Haha. I guess they came in handy because it got me to my current job after I wore these to my interview.
Jessica Simpson- Finally found a pair of Jessica shoes that weren't 6 ft high in heels! :P
CLOGS-
Dillard's- The patch style caught my eye and made these clogs really appealing to me. I still get many compliments on these whenever I wear them out.
BLING-
Volatile- I originally bought these to wear to my last Korea trip. I was going through some bling bling sandal phase as you can tell.
Guess- These sparkle so much in the sunlight, but the sandal is so flat and hard that it hurts my feet after a couple of hours.
Romus-Now to the most expensive shoes I own---- I saw these shoes in an upscale boutique store. After going in to find out they were $200 designer shoes from Spain I quickly walked back out. Anthony then surprised me for my birthday and bought them. So sweet, right? Back then, yes. Now, I would kill him!! Who spends $200 on some shoes?? Not I, Sam I am. Times have definitely changed since my "careless" spending days......
