Happy Day

Don't you just love those days where you wake up happy?? For some reason the gods have sprinkled me with cheery powder and I've been smiling all morning. Maybe it has something to do with my necklace? This Tarina gem has been in my possession for about 3 years, but I've only worn it like 5 times. Just seeing Hello Kitty with that bright pink hair puts a happy feeling in me. Haha. At first I wore the rainbow sparkled earring studs.......but it seemed a little too much with my outfit I felt. I didn't want to walk around looking like a cupcake girl........simply because I was off to work. :P The 40 year olds might shun me and make my work environment a living hell.........because well........they have the power too....bwaha.

As I was running around doing some errands yesterday I came across this HK flash drive. Tell me I had to get this! Another reason why I was looking forward to today was so I can flaunt it to my coworkers....ahaha...Because, you know, we could all use a litte cute kitty to perk up our mornings.

And my lunch box (I got in Korea) will just top of the afternoon. This will be showcased at lunch hour to all the people that bring boring plastic bags at work.....It's nice to invest in a reusable lunchbox....... :)

Let's all have a good day today! And if you'll be at work bored out of your mind (like me sometimes) click here to put a colorful touch to your day. I love her artwork.....
It's so cute.

Breakfast Lover

My favorite meal of the day has got to be breakfast. It has always been. Growing up I would look forward to Sunday mornings and my dad's special breakfast makes. I have always been a big egg eater and make sure I have it for breakfast atleast once a week. Sometimes I dread the mornings that I have to rush out the door because I know that results in plain ol' cereal bar or just an boring apple. I enjoy the mornings with a warm cooked meal and a cup of warm tea reading my favorite blogs. :)

Short Cuts

Every now and then I get tempted to cut my hair short.........Seeing these pictures don't help either. :)

Miss Pucci Perfume

I discovered this perfume from a sample pack I had received (back in March for my bday.) I was going through some crumpled up tissue paper I had found lying around and noticed it wrapped in it. I guess I didn't look through my bag thoroughly. *ooppsies*

As soon as I opened it I fell in love with this scent. As I was getting ready for work I was slathering it profusely onto my wrists, chest, and neck. Man, did I get my sample's worth out of it.

Have you ever tried on a perfume so good you couldn't stop smelling it all day long? That was me. All day at work I kept sniffing my wrists contemplating if I should go out and buy the bottle. I broke down, and I decided to stop by the mall the following day.

I was sooo happy to discover that the Miss Pucci perfume had a small travel size. Not only was it convenient to carry around in my HK makeup bag, but it was only $23! That's way cheaper than $70 I was planning on spending for the 1.7 oz size.

This scent is a perfect introduction for the upcoming fall season. It doesn't have too much of a floral scent (which I don't really care for), but not too much musk either (like an old grandma.) To me it seems to have the perfect balance of both smells.:)

New Name

So, you're probably wondering what's up with the new name on the header. Yes, I decided to change the name of my blog. Obviously I can't change the main url, but this will do for now.

Why, "Seaweed Kisses?" Hmmm.......well......I just wanted something that sounded cuter and leaned a little more to the feminine side. I felt like "Kimchi World" was just not cutting it. I got bored of it. Plus, with my plan on moving to Korea being pushed back I just don't feel like that name suits what I will be writing about from now on.

The name "Kimchi World" made up a year ago was just something I thought of right on the spot. I signed up for a blogger account and wanted something where people would know I was talking about something Korea(n) based.

Looking now and looking forward I think my blog objectives will be a little bit different and not the "moving to korea" ramblings I thought were going to be talked about. That's all.... :)

Eastern Taiwan's beautiful coast photos

Breathtaking views of Taiwan's blue pacific ocean

The Green Island sitting on the blue ocean while waves hit on the shores below.

Few minutes after the Longchang village, we've came across one of the most beautiful views we've ever seen in Taiwan. There is a small rest area very close to the Pacific ocean and when I saw the clear blue green image of the water, I asked my wife to stop for a while and have a look. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our Taitung tour. We took some of the most beautiful photos here - the colors were just amazing. I can't say much more, but for me this is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Taiwan I have ever seen. Let my photos speak for themselves:

The resting area attracted these two girls with yellow rain coats. Luckily no rain spoiled our trip.

View on the Donghe harbor and a small peninsula.

It looked like the ocean was foaming.

The cloudy sky was blue and grey while the ocean was blue and green - simply amazing.

Beautiful sandy shores of Taitung County.

Kids playing on the beach. Next time I might join them.

The view in the distance with the Green Island on the horizon.

Decisions, Decisions

Notice that my last couple of posts have been eye candy images and hardly any text? This is because my mind has been cloudy.......very cloudy......

My head has been pounding with over whelming thoughts and decisions making situations.

You see, a friend of mine threw my name in someone's ear for a potential career move. She's always been keeping her eye out for me, and now the time has come where I have an opportunity to squeeze in a better position.

This is where my adult thinking cap comes in to play.

Do you I leave the job I'm comfortable in now for a 35% pay raise?  This new job is the total opposite of what I do now. My average day is spent socializing with customers/clients, engaging in work activities, seeing more than 20 coworkers a day, being out and about in the open public space, and being the face of my company.

This possible move will have me in an office, staring at the computer all day, and emailing people back and forth regarding business matters. No social interactions, no sunlight beaming through, no physical contact with anyone........besides one other girl that will be sitting in the lonesome office with me.

 Hmmm......*think think think*........................
